Trilogy Music Disc Jockeys

Trilogy Music has a number of Cape Town- and Johannesburg-based Disc Jockeys, equipped with full sound and lighting systems as well as a microphone for speeches. Each DJ has at least 8 years DJ'ing experience. DJs are available countrywide.

Predominant functions our our DJs perform at include corporate dinner-dances, wedding receptions, birthday celebrations, corporate family days, school reunions, church dances, house parties & restaurants.

For a dinner-dance style event, appropriate background music is played while your guests are dining, before the dance floor is opened.

Later when the dance floor is opened, pre-selected music from you, requests from your guests, as well as popular party songs, are played while your guests party - all professionally mixed. The crowd is "read" to ensure that the correct type of music is being played so as to keep the dance floor as full as possible.

A pre-function meeting will be arranged between the client and the DJ. Using details from the meeting and information obtained during the booking process, the DJ can draw up an idea of which styles of music you want at your function. The DJ is always flexible on the night and welcomes requests. All in all, the DJ will try accommodate and please the youngest right through to the oldest of your guests!

Trilogy Music DJs have large song lists of thousands of tracks ranging in genres from commercial pop, rock, hip-hop, R'nB, house, alternative, kwaito, jazz, rock 'n roll, from the 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's, the 00's, right up to the latest chart hits. DJs keep up to date with chart happenings in South Africa as well as the UK and the USA. Various styles of music are available for background music.

As well as high-power professional sound systems, lighting effects complete the evening's dance floor. Additional sound, lighting and special effects can be brought in for your evening. Parties of any size can be catered for: we have worked at events as small as 20 guests right up to over 2,000!.

- CD & laptop based sound system, spec'ed to the number of guests you are expecting
- Microphone for speeches (a cordless microphone is standard with most packages)
- Optional dance floor & ambient lighting (mirror balls, comet lights, scanners, par can wall lighting, etc)
