| It’s funny really, that a band with so much talent would be called, GoodLuck. Because it’s not really luck that’s got these three musos to where they are – igniting South African night skies with their jazzing beats- it’s more like a blend of serious sums of talent, plenty of soul and a helluva lot of passion. And their next plan? Taking over the dance floors of the world!
And that’s really why they’re here. GoodLuck is a groove injected dance rocket that blends electro beats with the distinctive sounds of sax, drums and keyboard, their music just makes you feel so good! Barely a year after combining their passion for good music, these three musos have been charming crowds with their new wave of electronics. It’s really no surprise, because there’s a power to their music – that lifts and energises and makes you feel like you wouldn’t want to be anywhere else but on the dance floor. GoodLuck have taken their jazzy, fizzling sound to the dance floors of St Ives, FTV, Taboo, and Club INC, have jammed alongside Paul Oakenfold, DJ Fresh, Just Jinger, Shaun Duvet, Euphonic and Cassette, and toured as the opening act for the acclaimed outfit Goldfish. They have ignited the cities of South Africa, fired up parties in Ibiza, the UAE and Switzerland and heated up season-long residencies in Cape Town. And crowds are chanting for more. GoodLuck are steadily making their musical mark on the international stage. . And that’s where they plan to stay. GoodLuck wants to give you energetic, approachable, futuristic entertainment. Based in Cape Town, available countrywide.

| Goldfish’s unique blend of deep house grooves, live instruments and vocal samples have made them a must-see electronic band. Goldfish’s rise to the top of the South African music scene has been extraordinary. In the year since their hugely successful debut album “Caught in the loop” was released, Goldfish opened for artists including Fat Boy Slim, Mr Scruff, The Audio Bullies and Stereo MC's. Their tracks have been released on compilations worldwide, with number one hits in South Africa on 5fm and regional stations. Hailed as the Re-invention of the DJ, their intensive touring schedule has seen them take their unique Cape Town sound to sold-out shows worldwide. Both accomplished Multi-instrumentalists and Jazz musicians in their own right, David Poole and Dominic Peters have taken their grounding in Jazz and broken boundaries on the dance floor combining Samplers, Saxophones, a Groove box, Keyboards, Vocoder, Electric Double Bass, Flute and effect units into a spur-of-the moment, cutting-edge live remix performance. When performing live, they are DJs so to speak, but with no predestined CD or Vinyl. Everything is created live, allowing a completely unique, spontaneous performance at every show. Their latest album “Get Busy Living” was released early 2011. Based in Cape Town, available countrywide.

| Talented singer/songwriter Louise Day has been captivating audiences and stealing hearts since the age of ten. A true Cape Town girl though and through, her unique blend of what pundits have coined Piano-root Rock, delivered by her outstanding lingering vocals, has been showcased at some of the trendiest and musically influential venues in South Africa – The Assembly, Alba Lounge, Constantia Nek, Blu-Bar, The Waiting Room, Back 2 Basix, The Cape Farmhouse, Dizzy's, Zula Bar, V&A Waterfront Amphitheatre to name but a few, as well as some premier music festivals in SA, and some high profile corporate shows for clients like Old Mutual and Reeds Motor Group. Her music career started seriously when an itch to explore the international music scene lead her to the United States where she settled for a year in Aspen, Colorado in 2005. There she began performing at Aspen’s premiere live music venue, “Bellyup”, regularly opening for visiting internationally recognized artists, including the likes of the acclaimed ‘Grace Potter & The Nocturnals’ and ‘The English Beat’. This exposure resulted in a tremendous demand for her talents, and her remaining time was spent performing as a Fender Musician at the Winter X Games and Tempe Music Festival in Arizona, performing on the same stage as many international artists such as John Mayer and The Fray, as well as regular appearances on East Coast Plum TV with the ‘Morning, Noon and Night Show’. In 2006, she made her mark on Fender USA when she was approached to endorse their new range of guitars for women. Since her return to SA, she has been charming South Africans alongside maestro musician Charne Groenmeyer, who accompanies the band on electric guitar, Tim Price on drums and electric percussion, the wonderfully talented Simon Van Wyk on the keyboard, and the recent addition of the well known Dylan Hichens on bass guitar and backing vocals. The band launched their debut album “Chasing the Wind” in September 2008 to critical acclaim and had radio play-listing & interviews on Highveld 94.7 as well as KFM 94.5. The band have also managed to have the debut album internationally marketed on iTunes, Amazon.com, Rhapsody, Napster, and eMusic – no mean feat for an independent artist! The beginning of 2009 saw the start of pre-production work on the second album which is planned to showcase the more rock-orientated, edgier sound that has developed naturally. These developments have garnered the attention of some of the top major record labels in the industry and the band is in the process of signing a publicity and distribution deal with one of them. “2009 is all about developing the sound of the band and finding new and exciting ways to get the music to our fans,” says Louise. “We have a crazy but awesome year lined up, and we are keen to take this band to the top!” Based in Cape Town, available countrywide.

Since their first sell-out public performance in 1999, Breakfast Included never once rested on their laurels, recording two critically-acclaimed albums and earning a reputation as one of the hardest working bands out there. They released two internationally acclaimed albums, Breakfast Included (2001) and Night Work Ahead (2004). Tracks from both albums are featured on international compilations: Cafe d’Afrique Vol.3 & 4, The Best of Passion Jazz, Universal Music’s Jazz Lounge (alongside the likes of Diana Krall and George Benson) and Goldfish’s Caught In The Loop. Despite their gruelling group ethic, the group’s members remained mindful of individual development. Thus pianist Jason Reolon won the SAMRO Overseas Scholarship for Jazz piano in 2001. Drummer Shaun Michau toured America with The Lost in 2002. David Poole (sax) and Dominic Peters (bass) went on to become Goldfish, the runaway live electro sensation. Shaun and Jason have since sieved the cream of the South African music industry to find individuals with the ability and passion to take Breakfast Included to the next level. They’ve come away with some truly special musicians: Melanie Scholtz (vocals), Buddy Wells (saxophone), and Wesley Rustin (bass) are well known and respected both in South Africa and abroad. The all-new band will add that something special to the proceedings when style, visual impact and the best music is required. They are sharply dressed and versatile, adjusting to any musical setting, from intimate to centre-stage, making them the perfect choice for all occasions. This band will provide an unforgettable musical experience with a huge repertoire drawing from the entire Jazz spectrum - Swing, Latin, Funk, R&B and African. Based in Cape Town, available countrywide.

| 19 years old, Zambian and armed with an electric violin, Caitlin made the brave move to Cape Town from her little hometown of Kitwe at the end of 2007 to further her career. Since arriving in South Africa she has performed at major corporate events around the country that have taken her and her violin across the Western Cape, Gauteng , the Eastern Cape and into the Limpopo Province. Caitlin is not your average violinist – she has never even performed seriously on an acoustic violin. Caitlin was inspired by the original electric violinist, Vanessa Mae and a love for music which she inherited from her parents and grandmother. She taught herself to play the violin, which has given her the freedom to explore all forms of music over the years. Not being restricted to learning classical music like most violinists contributes to her energy and movement on stage. Being self-taught has never made her less capable though, she had the honour of performing with the World Youth Symphony Orchestra in the USA after winning a scholarship to study at the prestigious Interlochen Arts Camp during the Summer of 2004. Based in Cape Town & Lusaka, available countrywide.

International percussionist, Daniel Bloem rounds off the rhythm section. The band is completed with Donveno Prins on saxophones and Robertson as singer.
